Premier League: Jamie O’Hara identifies three major problems with Potter’s Chelsea side

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Jamie O’Hara, has identified three major problems with the current Chelsea squad under his manager, Graham Potter this season.

O’Hara believes the problems with the current Chelsea squad are that they “seem soft and weak and unable to hurt teams”.

He said this while criticizing Chelsea’s performance against Manchester City on Thursday night, with Potter’s side remaining 10th on the Premier League table after a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea lost at home to Pep Guardiola’s team following winger Riyad Mahrez’s second-half goal.

“I think they are [Chelsea] It looks soft, it looks vulnerable, and I think it doesn’t hurt you,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.

“They are pragmatic, this is not the old Chelsea you used to watch when they turn up and are terrible and hard to beat, they don’t concede and they have monsters in the team who score goals.

“I look at Chelsea and think I can imagine playing against them.

He added, “It is one of the most successful football teams in the past 20 years, and is ranked tenth in the standings.”
