Manchester United boss Eric ten Hag has tasked the club hierarchy with bringing Napoli forward Victor Osimhen to Old Trafford this summer.
Ten Hag is determined to sign a new striker despite the club’s impressive performance this season.
Osimhen is the Dutchman’s first target, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The Nigerian international has also been linked with another Premier League giant, Chelsea.
The 23-year-old has scored 19 goals in 20 league appearances for Napoli this season.
However, it could be difficult for Manchester United to come to terms with Napoli as owner of the Partenopei, and Aurelio De Laurentiis is known to be a shrewd negotiator.
