Former Chelsea midfielder Andy Townsend has named Reece James and Thiago Silva as the Blues’ best players this season under their manager Graham Potter.
Townsend believes both Silva and James are miles better than the rest of their Chelsea team-mates in this campaign.
“he [Graham Potter] He’s got a lot I can tell they’re very good players, he’s never had a lot of great players for me. His best players are right-back and Thiago Silva,” Townsend told talkSPORT.
He added: “I think Reece James and Thiago Silva are the best players by distance.
“It’s very early for Enzo Fernandez but again, we still don’t know if he’s going to be a huge hit or not. We think he might, but we really don’t know.”
