Premier League: Two things I told Martial after Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest – Evra

Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has revealed two things he said to striker Anthony Martial after he scored during the Red Devils’ 3-0 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

Evra said he had asked Martial to score more goals for Man United and to keep fit until the end of the season after Nottingham Forest won.

Man United defeated Forest at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Martial, Marcus Rashford and Fred.

“I am happy [Anthony] Martial and I spoke to him after the match. I said I wanted more goals from him,” Evra told Amazon Prime Video.

“I also told him I wanted him to keep fit. It’s really important and I think that’s why he took off the manager. He wants to take care of his fitness too.”
