Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that he has rejected an offer of 350 million euros to leave in the summer.
It has been widely reported that Ronaldo has been desperate to leave Old Trafford since the summer.
The 37-year-old has been linked to several different clubs, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portugal captain also received an amazing offer from an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia, which would have made Ronaldo the highest-paid player in history.
He has now explained why he decided to reject their approach.
“That’s right, yes, that’s right,” Ronaldo told Piers Morgan Uncensored about the €350m offer to play in Saudi Arabia for two seasons.
“But what the press kept saying, garbage, is that nobody wants me, which is completely wrong.
“And I was happy here to be honest, excited to have a great season here. But they kept repeating that no one wants Cristiano.
“How could they not want a player who scored 32 goals last year with the national team?”
