Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has criticized the club for sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer so early.
In the latest clip from his interview with Piers Morgan, released on Wednesday, the 37-year-old said it would always be difficult to replace Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo continued to praise Solskjaer as an “outstanding personality”.
He said: “I love Solskjaer. I think he was a special person, because what I keep in my heart is the heart of people. My first is a high-class person.
“It’s hard to assume [the role] After Sir Alex Ferguson, but I think he certainly did a good job.
“You need more time. I never doubt it [he is] He will be a good coach in the future.”
Solskjaer was sacked by United in December 2021.
The Norwegian was fired despite signing a new three-year deal in July 2021.
He left after overseeing five defeats in seven Premier League matches.
