The former Minister of Education, Obiagele Ezekwesili, said the upcoming presidential election is a fight for the soul of Nigeria.
Ezekwesili revealed the statement on Friday in a post via his verified Twitter account.
She said that the darkness over the nation is not yet enough for those who love power for its sake and possession, adding that they want to darken it even more.
“You should all know better that the 2023 presidential election, in particular, is a ‘fight for the soul of Nigeria,’” she wrote.
“The darkness on our earth is not yet enough for those” who love power for the sake of power and acquisitions, “so they want to darken it even more.
“Do you allow them?”
