Presidential election: Ohanaiz sends a strong message to northerners
Barely seven days before the presidential election, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide urged Northerners to vote for Labor Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the general secretary of Ohanaeze, said northerners should choose Obi ahead of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Isiguzuru said Northerners and Nigerians in general should unite together for a greater future for the country by voting for Obi.
In a statement he signed, Isiguzuru said Nigerians should save themselves from corruption and chaos by voting for Obi instead of Atiku.
According to Isiguzuru: There is an ongoing battle between the corrupt elites and President Buhari, as there are attempts to dissuade the president into accepting the greed of the elites and allowing a certain unpopular candidate to win the 2023 presidential election.
The North must know that only Peter Obi will save the North’s countless troubles and revive the waning fortunes of the North.
“Those who are old, who lack stamina, will not be able to do the work instead of helping the North, and will only aggravate and aggravate the situation.”
Isiguzuru urged northerners to discard ethnic and religious cards in choosing Nigeria’s next president.
He added, “Northerners should discard the energies of race and religion and choose competence, ability and personality in an effort to end insecurity and banditry in the North.
“We beg the northerners to choose Peter Obi before Atiku and Tinubu to save the country from total collapse.”
