Priest who resigned to spreading polygamy apologizes and returns to the Anglican Church
Rev. Bar Ogbuchokwu Mako Lotana, who resigned from the Anglican Church to open a ministry to spread polygamy, has apologized.
Upon his resignation in September, the priest insisted that he had been inspired to spread polygamy as a means to eradicate immorality.
But the priest in a press release made available to the DAILY POST said the revelation was not badly depicted, and should be ruled out.
He said he deleted all previous videos of his sermons that promoted polygamy, while apologizing to the public.
I have since vowed to give full and undivided attention to all that God has called me to do as a priest in obedience to the prescribed authority of the Church.
“I have understood that for any program(s) to achieve sexual purity, it must necessarily be the one that must build up and must accept the Church of Christ. Nor can I be among those who fight against the Church.
“I have also pulled and deleted all videos and messages I preached or posted on this subject from all my social media handlers and shut down all channels,” he wrote.
