Kylian Mbappe responded to the actions of Argentina and its goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez during and after the World Cup Final in Qatar.
The Frenchman insisted he would waste no time engaging Martinez in a war of words.
The French forward produced a series of outstanding performances in Qatar, scoring eight goals in the tournament.
Mbappe scored a hat-trick in the final and during the penalty shootout, but France ended in defeat.
The 24-year-old became an unlikely target for Argentina players, and Martinez in particular.
Mbappe returned to action last night and scored the winning goal from a penalty kick to lead Paris Saint-Germain to a 2-1 victory over Strasbourg in a French League match on Wednesday night.
Asked after the match for a response to trolling No. 1 Aston Villa, Mbappe said: “It’s not my problem. I don’t have energy to waste on such useless things.”
