Real Madrid president Florentino Perez reportedly regrets signing Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
Perez is now identifying potential replacements for Rudiger at the Santiago Bernabéu.
According to El Nacional, Perez is considering a move to Villarreal’s Pau Torres or Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar as a replacement for Rudiger.
Rudiger joined Real Madrid from Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer of 2020.
The 29-year-old has so far failed to live up to expectations at Real Madrid.
Rudiger struggled to establish himself as a regular player, and his performances were roundly criticized by fans and critics.
He has made only 22 appearances for Real Madrid since arriving at the Santiago Bernabéu.
