The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Kaduna State for the 2023 elections, Issa Achiru, has offered his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and valuables in the recent attacks in the state’s Kawra Local Government Area.
In a statement he issued in Kaduna on Tuesday, he said, “In return for the relative peace our communities enjoy, I received the sad news of the attack in Malagum 1 and Sokoong communities in Kajuru chiefdom, Kaduna Local Government Area. The state is in shock and prayers for the comfort of those who lost their lives.”
He said it was frustrating and ridiculous that such senseless acts still existed among societies, saying that they are condemned and should not have a place among civilized peoples like Nigerians.
The gubernatorial candidate sent his heartfelt condolences to the Kaguru leader, the families of the victims of the attack, and all residents of the Kawura Local Government Area.
Out of respect for the departed, injured and grieving, he clarified that town council meetings scheduled to kick off in Kaduna South Senatorial District on Tuesday 20 December 2022 have been suspended, stressing that all PDP offices in Kaduna South Senatorial District have been advised to fly their flags at half-mast as a sign of respect to those who have been affected. from the accident.
He said, “I sincerely hope that as we work together to form a new government at the state level and at the federal level, by the grace of God, we will be able to cooperate and develop strategies that will reduce future incidents.”
While praying for a speedy recovery and comfort for the injured, he offered his sincere condolences to all those affected by the accident.
