Super Eagles midfielder Kelechi Noakale has said he will be back on action in three weeks.
Noakale sustained an injury in his Spanish Segunda Division club, SD Ponferradina’s 1-0 defeat to Malaga last weekend.
The 24-year-old was substituted for Ghanaian midfielder Thabet Abdullah in the 57th minute.
SD Ponferradina later announced that the player would be out of action for a few weeks.
“Way, to come back, see you in 3 weeks,” Noakale announced on Twitter, accompanied by a photo showing that he had already begun his rehabilitation.
The former Golden Eaglets captain is now expected to miss matches against Burgos, Lugo and Levante.
He is expected to return for a home match against Villarreal 11 on January 8, 2023.
