A Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Adewale Giwa, on Tuesday revealed that some of God’s men have given up on their calling by spreading New Year’s prophecies.
Giwa, Senior Pastor of the Church Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Akure, Ondo State, said his mission as a man of God is to spread the gospel and speak truth to authority.
According to him, any prophet who does not see what is wrong in his own country cannot claim to see what is happening in other countries.
He emphasized that the ultimate goal of any man of God was to win souls for Christ and to feed people with God’s words.
Speaking about the upcoming presidential election, Jiwa stressed that none of the front-line contenders seem serious about finding solutions to the myriad of challenges facing the country.
He reiterated that for the country to witness the desired transformation, there is a need to rewrite the constitution to be a better country that Nigerians can be proud of.
