Gombe State Governor Inwa Yahya has confirmed Bola Tinubu’s ability to assume the duties of the presidency if he is elected in 2023.
He said the PNC candidate had already confirmed that he would carry on the legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Yahya made this statement at the Lamido Guna Palace of His Royal Highness Abd al-Qadir Abd al-Salam in the community of Amada in the local government area of Acre.
The governor stated that President Buhari had performed well during his two terms of office.
Nan quoted him as saying, “We need unification, and that is why we will vote for Tinubu.”
“Tinubu has promised to continue the good works of Buhari by ensuring good governance.”
Yahya urged the people of the emirate to vote for the candidates of the General People’s Congress in the general elections.
At the Garko booth of the Akko LGA, he said the party was pleased with the introduction of the two-factor authentication system (BVAS).
“We are confident that with BVAS and Tinubu and all APC candidates will win.”
Yahya further announced that the ruling program has achieved a lot and has massive supporters across Nigeria.
