Kaduna State People’s Democratic Party Chairman Felix Hassan Hayat has called on members of the Labor Party, LP, to unite efforts in order to save the state from the recklessness of the last eight years of the PWP. administration in the state.
In a statement issued by reporters in Kaduna, Hayat appealed to members and supporters of the Labor Party in the state to put an end to the setbacks they all suffered in the past presidential elections, and to move forward together to save the state.
He said that the long-awaited 2023 general elections began with the holding of the presidential elections and the National Assembly elections on February 25, 2023, expressing regret that the process and results of the elections, especially in the presidential elections, did not live up to the required level. expectations of the majority of Nigerians and the PDP, but expressed their gratitude for showing support for their candidates and party across the state.
He added, “We appreciate the high turnout of voters in our state, especially those who voted for us and gave our presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, giving him, once again, the highest number of votes in the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT.”
He also thanked party members and Nigerians for their three Senate candidates voting for power, stressing that the party emerged victorious by obtaining ten members in the state’s House of Representatives.
Hyatt emphasized that the result of the just concluded elections was a clear indication that the people of Kaduna State have rejected the APC and have now decided to pitch their tent with the PDP, saying they do not take this vote of confidence for granted.
The state chief has called on the good people of Kaduna, no matter which party they supported in the presidential elections, to do more in the next round of elections and come out in droves and make sure that the APC is expelled from their state.
