The plateau: A prophecy of the “God bless the PDP” prayer of Tinubu-Olugonagpa

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) described the prayer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a prophetic prayer.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Dipo Olujunagpa, in a statement on Tuesday, also insisted that the APC candidate is ineligible to run in the 2023 presidential election.

“God bless the People’s Democratic Party,” Tinubu had said on Tuesday, while exiting the APC presidential rally in Jos, Plateau state.

The DPP writer said Tinubu’s statement further underscores his deepest conviction that their party represents the hope and aspirations of the majority of Nigerians.

Olugonagba said it is a divine revelation that hope for Nigeria can only come from the PDP.

A partial reading of the statement read, “It is useful to note that the APC Presidential Candidate had admitted earlier in his speech, that Nigerians were ‘in distress’ under the failing leadership of the Nigerian Army but that hope is on the way.

“Since Asiwaju Tinubu’s prophetic blessing on the PDP, our party has received many calls, messages of solidarity and visits from key members of the APC, who believe his prayers are a divine act of God to guide the nation in the right direction.

“It is evident that Asiwaju Tinubu was speaking under the apparent weight of the recent disclosure of his indictment for drug trafficking, which had become one too great a burden to shake off and he had lost all moral and legitimate capacity to occupy the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Perhaps this explains why Asiwaju Tinubu was incoherent and had no tangible message for Nigerians when raising his campaign banner.

“It was pathetic that Nigerians watched with pity as the APC Presidential candidate, dumbfounded by the terrifying credentials and popularity of the DPP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, was unable to formulate any solution to the myriad of problems brought upon our nation by The failure APC he prided himself on installing and supervising as a national commander.

“Asiwaju Tinubu could not offer any solution or insight to the challenges of insecurity, division, relentless killing, rising unemployment, declining Naira and collapsing economy with unprecedented debts of more than 40 trillion naira arising from the capricious macroeconomic policies of his failed and corrupt government.

“The PDP advises the APC to point out that Nigerians are not ready to listen to a presidential candidate like Asiwaju Tinubu, who continues to engage in insults, insults and uncontrolled outbursts instead of focusing on an issue-based campaign.”

The PDP accused the APC presidential candidate of being more concerned about the indictment over alleged drugs and discrepancies in his biological data and work record, which Nigerians have a right to know.
