The police announce that a member of the Anambra Corps is wanted for impersonation and possession of a firearm
Anambra State Police Command has announced that a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Emeh Nnamdi Daniel, is wanted.
State Police Public Relations Officer Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, who revealed this in a statement, said Emeh’s age is 26.
He was wanted for illegal firearm possession, money laundering, defamation of character, fraud and impersonation.
He said, “Mr Nnamdi Daniel was a National Youth Corps (NYSC) member with state code number AN/22A/3323, attached to the Anambra State Police Command.
“He has been positively identified as participating/named in an ongoing command investigation.
“Therefore, the Command urges the general public to report to the nearest police station, should they be seen, or to call the Command Control Room number to obtain any information that can assist in his place of arrest.”
PPRO confirmed the confidentiality of this information.
Meanwhile, NYSC’s Anambra State Coordinator, Ms. Blessing Iruma, denied knowledge with an announcement that a corps member was wanted.
Iruma told the Daily Post: “I’m not aware, the police didn’t inform me. Maybe they wrote to me, and by tomorrow the letter will arrive, and I can only respond when I see the letter announcing that he wants it.”
