Kula Abiola, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Liberation Party (PRP), has refuted speculation of a merger in 2023.
Abiola spoke at the launch of the party’s manifesto in Abuja on Saturday.
The flag bearer boasted that the People’s Progressive Party would win the presidential election with a landslide victory.
Abiola will challenge leading candidates including Paula Tinubu of the APC and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP among others.
He said PRP has a “very strong grassroots network” and will start its national campaign soon.
Abiola said the platform has structures in all local government areas with 711 candidates nationwide.
The businessman whose father was the late MEK chief Abiola, the famous winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, asserted that the PPP would “make a huge difference” while dismissing insinuations that he was riding on his father’s legacy.
There are no plans for the 2023 alliance, I will defeat Atiku, Tinubu – Kula Abiola
