Yobe May Governor Mala Boni described the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President-elect and Kachem Shetema as Vice-President-elect as Nigeria’s best team at this time.
Boni, who stated this in a congratulatory message on the victory of Tinubu/Chitema in the latest poll released through his media assistant, Maman Mohamed, also noted that the people of Nigeria spoke with great hope for a better Nigeria through the presidency of Tinubu/Chitema.
He said that a true Nigerian Tinubu accommodates Nigerians from different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
“His experience in transforming Lagos State will undoubtedly be used to transform a greater Nigeria,” said Boni.
He therefore called on Nigerians, including other candidates who ran against him, to support the elected president to build a more united and prosperous Nigeria.
And may God guide the coming administration of Asiwago/Kashim for a more united, prosperous and better Nigeria.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC has been declared president-elect by the Independent National Election Commission after securing the highest votes of 8,794,726 in the hotly contested presidential election of February 25, 2023.
The election results also showed that Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) came in second with a score of 6,984,520. Peter Obi of the Labor Party came in third with 6,101,533 votes. While the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, the presidential candidate came fourth with 1,496,687 votes.
