Tinubu Victory: Asked by Atiku, Obi to work with APC

Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chair of the Progressive Congress, mandated the opposition parties, the People’s Democratic Party and the Labor Party, to cooperate with the ruling party to lift Nigeria to a higher level.

Adamu said this on Thursday in Abuja, when speaking with reporters in Abuja, saying that Tinubu has clearly won the February 25 presidential election.

The Daily Mail reported that Tinubu was declared the winner of the February 25 presidential election on Wednesday morning.

He defeated strong challengers Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, and Peter Obi of the Workers’ Party.

“I offer him my heartfelt congratulations. Mr. President-elect, with your victory, the people also renewed the lease on our political party in Aso Rock. Our party is the party that the people can trust,” Adamo said.

“As Chairman of the National Board of Directors of APC, our victory is a humbling but proud experience for me.

We recognize the victors, but we do not recognize the vanquished, our party extends its patriotic hand to them.

“We urge them to join our party so that together we may meet the same challenges for which they offered their services.”
