Transfer: Boehly’s Chelsea have suffered another hit on Madueke

Chelsea, led by co-owner Todd Boyle, suffered another setback in their attempt to sign winger, Noni Madueki PSV.
PSV have reportedly rejected Chelsea’s opening bid for Madueki, just days after the Blues signed Mykhailo Modric from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Metro UK reports that Chelsea have offered £26.6m for Madueki, but PSV believe the offer is too low for their player.

PSV have already lost one striker in the January transfer window, with Cody Gakbo moving to Premier League rivals Chelsea for a fee in excess of £35m.

The Dutch club does not want to sell another striker unless it is for a lot of money.

Madueki came through the academies of Crystal Palace and Tottenham before moving to PSV again in 2019.

The 20-year-old has scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists in 80 appearances so far for PSV.
