Jonathan Johnson, a France-based journalist for CBS Sports Golazo, has advised Chelsea to loan defender Benoit Badiachel to a Ligue 1 club after he finalized a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Post had previously reported that Chelsea, led by co-owner Todd Bohle, confirmed the signing of Badiachel from France’s Monaco on Thursday.
Badiahile signed a seven-and-a-half-year contract with Chelsea, becoming Pauli’s first signing in January.
However, Jonathan believes it would be wise for Chelsea to send the 21-year-old left centre-back out on loan for the remainder of the season.
“I think that [Badiashile] He has the makings of a good defender in the Premier League. However, it would be prudent for Chelsea to consider loaning him to a Ligue 1 club for the rest of the season.”
