Transfer: Vinicius’ decision to leave Real Madrid was exposed due to racism

Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior has revealed his final decision on his future at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The Brazil international made a statement about his future at Real Madrid that became significant after the constant racist attacks he received from rival fans.

Spanish football journalist Bruno Andrade said via Madrid Xtra that the striker has no intention of letting go of the LaLiga giants.

He wants to stay in Spain and “make history and be a reference” at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Ahead of the cup match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, Thursday, a mannequin wearing a Vinicius shirt was suspended from a bridge in the Spanish capital.

The photo carried a red and white banner for Atlético, which read: “Madrid hates Real.”

“Vinnie Jr. does not want to leave Real Madrid, even as racist attacks continue in Spain. “The player wants to make history and be a reference in Real Madrid,” said Andrade.
