U-20 Africa Cup of Nations: Egypt coach, Gaber says the team is ready for the Flying Eagles battle

Mahmoud Gaber, the coach of the Egyptian national team, is looking forward to facing his team in Group A against the Nigerian Eagles in the ongoing 2023 African U-20 Cup of Nations.

The Young Pharaohs drew 0-0 in Sunday’s opening game.

The Flying Eagles, on the other hand, suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss against the Senegal Cubs in their first game.

Jaber’s team is backed by rowdy fans inside Cairo International Stadium.

The former Ismaili captain said his team is well motivated to beat Ladan Bosu’s team.

“We started working immediately after the Mozambique match,” Jabeur was quoted by CAFonline as saying.

“Everyone is ready and we are very motivated to win.”

Senegal and Mozambique meet in the other Group B match.
