However, Luka Modric has made the trip alongside Ernesto Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Mario Martin, Sergio Arribas and Dani Ceballos.
Madrid entered the game with a 2-0 win over Osasuna, courtesy of goals from Federico Valverde and Marco Asensio.
And Liverpool have also found some form recently, with 2-0 victories over Everton and Newcastle United in the Premier League.
