On Saturday evening, Croatia defeated Morocco 2-1 in the third-place match for the 2022 World Cup at Khalifa International Stadium in Qatar.
Yusko Gvardiol opened the scoring for Croatia in seven minutes before Ashraf Dari equalized for the Atlas Lions.
However, Mislav Orsic scored for Croatia to extend their lead before half-time.
Upon restarting the second half, both teams failed to score, with the game eventually ending in Croatia’s favour.
Meanwhile, France will meet Argentina on Sunday night in the World Cup final.
