Roma coach Jose Mourinho has praised Morocco’s tactics and fighting spirit for the 2022 World Cup.
The Atlas Lions beat Mourinho’s home country Portugal 1-0 to advance to the semi-finals.
It is the first time that an African country has come this far in the tournament.
They will now face defending champions France for a place in the final.
“The coach organized the team very well, starting from 4-3-3. He was able to change during the match to 5-4-1.
“He saw the danger, he saw that Portugal had a lot of players in the end zones and he found a way to control the game.
“They have incredible players, coach and spirit,” said Mourinho.
