Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos believes that the Brazilian national team is not what it used to be.
According to Carlos, Brazil does not display the same cheerful football that it used to show in his days, adding that the current team has lost its essence.
The former left-back played in four World Cups under a variety of coaches and styles.
Speaking to The Telegraph before the opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup against Serbia on Thursday 24, Carlos said, “Brazil has lost its essence, it is the beautiful game. [jogo bonito]. “
