Ghana legend Asamoah Jiang paid tribute to Uruguayan striker Giorgian de Arascaita after he scored twice against the Black Stars on Friday.
West Africa were knocked out of the World Cup on Friday after losing 2-0 to Uruguay, who were sent off after South Korea beat Portugal 2-1.
Arascaita scored two goals for Uruguay, becoming La Celeste’s first scorer in the 2022 World Cup.
A visibly frustrated Jiang also lashed out at the Ghana players, accusing them of not handling the match in the right spirit.
Ghana needed just one point to qualify for the knockout stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
“Not everyone can get that technique. If you see, it’s technically sound. Most players can’t get that from this aspect,” Jiang praised the Uruguayan striker.
