Croatian champion Ivan Rakitic mocked striker Romelu Lukaku after Belgium’s exit from the 2022 World Cup on Thursday.
I remember Lukaku missed some great chances as Belgium drew 0-0 against Croatia in their World Cup group match.
The result saw Belgium exit from the ongoing tournament in Qatar, while Croatia ranked second in Group F, behind Morocco, and will now face Japan on Monday in the round of 16.
In a post on his Instagram Story after the match, Rakitic was pleased with Croatia’s lead over Belgium and said his country needed to pay for a one-month vacation in Split.
The former Barcelona midfielder said: “Let’s go Lukaku!
“We have to pay him a month’s vacation in Split [Croatia’s second largest city]. Let’s go!”
